Many retail stores have settled here. The variety is ideal for strolling. (Fashion, handicrafts, footwear, electrical appliances, photography, butchers, bakers, vegetable, toys, design items, travel agency, flowers, drugstore, tobacconist and food hairdressers, banks and a pharmacy etc).

Linzer Markets

markt

The Linzer market currently includes eleven food and green markets (eg Südbahnhofmarkt), a weekly flea market (every Saturday 7-14 clock in the main square), the Urfahranermarkt (in spring and autumn every year) and two Christmas markets (in the main square and in Volksgarten).

The markets are local providers and very important to the rural life. Therefore they are an integral part of the city center and the districts.

Despite the huge competition from chain stores and large department stores, the markets are well accepted by the population because they are also a place for communication and entertainment.
